Through Dutch Fork Elementary’s "Crumbs to Compost" program, 485-plus students divert an average of 30 tons of food waste from the landfill annually! This story was recently covered by The Columbia Star.

The numbers are in, and we're excited to announce that SMART Partners diverted 16% more organic waste from the landfill last year! In 2022, we collected 1,832 tons, and that increased to 2,129 tons in 2023.
